Babybox ŠTERNBERK
We are proud co-sponsors of the Babybox in AGEL Maternity Hospital in Sternberg.
Unfortunately, sometimes life is merciless and it is for these hopeless situations that Babyboxes were created to save innocent babies. The Babyboxes project was created to save babies and offer them a fresh start.
Did you know that the first Babybox opened in the Czech Republic in 2005? Since then, thanks to Babyboxes, 248 babies have been saved. We already have one such Babybox in Šternberk. The eighty-fifth babybox in the Czech Republic has been operating since the end of March and we are very happy and rightly proud to be part of this meaningful project.
The babybox is a sophisticated stainless steel "box" down to the last detail. The babyboxes are air-conditioned and ventilated, so storing babies is safe even on hot days.
Thanks to the multiple alarms at the moment the baby is placed, several people know about it at once, even if they are not present in the hospital.
As the founder Ludvík Hess himself said at the official opening, we wish the new Babybox in Šternberk as few abandoned babies as possible.
