This is what real muslin looks like
At first glance, muslin is characterized by its slightly crinkled, wrinkled texture. It is this texture that distinguishes it from classic cotton, which usually has a regular square pattern typical of TETRA diapers. Muslin feels light and airy, and is noticeably softer and gentler to the touch – ideal even for the most sensitive baby skin.
Thanks to its open weave, muslin is extremely breathable and wicks away moisture. This makes it the perfect material not only for diapers, but also for summer clothing, swaddles, towels, and light blankets. On hot days, it helps regulate temperature and reduces the risk of overheating your baby.
High-quality muslin also becomes softer with each wash without losing its shape or strength. This is why it belongs to a higher price category. So if you come across "muslin" diapers at a suspiciously low price comparable to regular cloth diapers, be wary – very often it is ordinary cotton rather than real muslin.
This does not mean, of course, that classic cloth or TETRA diapers are not a great choice – they also have their place in everyday baby care. However, if you are looking for something extra soft, breathable, and beautifully designed, real muslin is the right choice.
At T-TOMI, we pay attention to the quality of materials and workmanship so that our muslin diapers meet the highest standards of comfort, safety, and durability. That's why you'll find real muslin that you and your baby will love.
